BbTalkin software updates
BbTalkin keeps his software up to date as much as possible. We always update our devises to provide new features and extend our options with our different devises. We recommend to check the software updates regularly. If you are not sure you have the new software. Please contact us or use the wizard to check the software upgrade version.
This update is for MASER 3.0 and STANDARD 3.0
Important Note:
Make sure you select the right firmware for your device or your device will stop workin! Select STANDARD or MASTER depending on the unit you are updating.
New version released november 2023:
– Optimize microphone gain and overall performance.
– Standard unit can pair to the latest Iphone watch to listen to music and take phone calls.
– Standard unit can pair to GoPro12 to record 4 person’s voice live. Before connecting the units, you must pair one Standard to the GoPro first, then connect the units.

How to pair and update the firmware
Pair your cell phone to the STANDARD or MASTER unit
STANDARD: When powered off. Press and hold the POWER button until device starts flashing purple. Your unit is now in pairing mode for cell phone. Select unit on your phone’s Bluetooth device list to establish a connection. After this your device is paired.
STANDARD: When powered off. Press and hold the CH1 and CH2 button at the same time until device starts flashing purple. Your unit is now in pairing mode for cell phone. Select unit on your phone’s Bluetooth device list to establish a connection. After this your device is paired.
When finished pairing. Go to the app and follow the instructions for the firmware update. Select STANDARD when updating the standard unit. Select MASTER when updating the master unit.
When finished upgrading make sure you disconnect the previous unit and connect a new one for upgrading. Remember that all intercoms need to be paired together again after update.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Updating will only work through Windows PC! If you have installed the previous DFU WIZARD version, please uninstall it. Then download and install the latest version 1.7 Make sure you upload the correct Firmware or your device will stop working
