Frequently asked questions

What is the real range?
Up to 1000m between two units in open water with clear line of sight. In normal teaching conditions expect 600 to 800m. Range drops in group mode with a Master unit.

Is it really waterproof?
Yes. The STANDARD 3.0 is IPX7 rated when sealed in its screw-down case, surviving submersion to 1 metre for 30 minutes. Bluetooth does not transmit underwater, but the connection restores the instant you surface.

Can it connect to a phone or GoPro?
Yes. The STANDARD 3.0 pairs over Bluetooth with your smartphone and GoPro HERO 12. The Master 3.0 cannot do this, so choose the Standard if phone or GoPro connectivity matters to you.

Can I start small and expand later?
Yes. The system is fully expandable. Add a Master 3.0 to grow into a 3 or 4-person group. Your Standard units carry straight over.
