Warranty Coverage
BbTalkin products are covered by both the EU legal guarantee for consumers and our manufacturer’s warranty for professional users.
If a product fails due to a manufacturing fault within these periods, we’ll repair or replace it free of charge.
This includes all BbTalkin intercoms, headsets, waterproof cases, and accessories purchased directly from bb-talkin.eu or authorised European dealers.
Warranty Periods:
- Private (Consumer) — 2 years
- Business / Professional — 1 year (intercoms) / 6 months (headsets & accessories)
What Isn’t Covered
Our warranty covers defects caused by production or materials - it does not cover issues caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents.
This includes:
- Impact, fire, or physical damage
- Water ingress from improperly sealed housings
- Corrosion, sand, or saltwater buildup from poor maintenance
- Damage caused by third-party chargers or accessories
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Products that have been opened, modified, or repaired by unauthorised parties

This helps maintain waterproof performance and extend product lifespan.
How to Request Warranty Support
Before sending your item back, contact our support team — most issues can be solved quickly by email.
Our process:
- You cover the shipping cost to send the item to us.
- If it’s a valid warranty case, we’ll cover the return shipping back to you.
If you purchased through a local BbTalkin dealer, please contact them first - they can usually help faster under the same warranty terms.
After Inspection
Once we receive your item, our technicians will inspect and confirm the cause of the issue.
If it’s covered:
- We’ll repair or replace your product free of charge.
If it’s not covered (for example, due to misuse, water ingress, or corrosion):
- We’ll send you a transparent repair or replacement quote.
- No work is carried out without your approval.

What is the BbTalkin warranty period?
Private customers receive a 2-year warranty on intercoms and headsets. Business customers receive 1 year on intercoms and 6 months on headsets and accessories.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults from normal use. It does not cover impact damage, corrosion, improper sealing, or damage from third-party chargers or accessories.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Email sales@bb-talkin.nl with your order number, issue details, and photos. Our team will assess your case and provide return instructions before you ship the product.
Do I pay shipping for repairs?
You cover the shipping to BbTalkin.
If the issue is confirmed as a valid warranty claim, we cover the return shipping after repair or replacement.
Is water damage covered?
No. Water damage caused by improper sealing, misuse, or poor maintenance is not covered under warranty.
