What setup do I need?
If you need 2-way communication, choose two Standard 3.0 intercoms. If you want to talk with 3 or 4 people, choose one Master 3.0 (the main unit) and Standard 3.0 units for everyone else. All connect wirelessly and talk live - no push-to-talk needed.
What’s the difference between the STANDARD and MASTER intercoms?
The BbTalkin Standard 3.0 is designed for 1-to-1 or 2-person communication. The Master 3.0 controls up to three Standard units for 3- or 4-person group communication. Choose the Master if you teach, coach, or manage groups.
How many people can talk together at once?
Two people can talk live using two Standard units. For three or four users, one Master connects with two or three Standard intercoms. All users talk hands-free - no push-to-talk needed.

Instructors should choose the Master 3.0 as the main control unit. It manages up to three Standard units for group lessons - ideal for surf, kitesurf, sailing, and safety schools.

How waterproof is BbTalkin?
All BbTalkin 3.0 intercoms are IPX7 waterproof when used inside their screw-sealed waterproof case -safe for full submersion up to 30 minutes at 1 meter depth.
What range can I expect from my BbTalkin setup?
In open water or land environments, range reaches up to 1000 meters for 2-person setups. For 3–4 users, expect 300–600 meters, depending on line of sight and mounting height.
Can BbTalkin connect to my smartphone or GoPro?
Yes. The Standard 3.0 connects to smartphones for music, calls, or navigation,
and to GoPro HERO 12 for live audio recording. The Master 3.0 is for group coordination and does not pair with phones.
Can I expand my BbTalkin setup later?
Yes. Start with a 2-person Standard setup and later add a Master 3.0 to expand into a 3- or 4-person system.
All devices remember their previous pairings automatically.
